Fire Protection Systems Design
David Lee, joined Gage-Babcock & Associates Ltd. in June, 2005 after earning his Diploma in Building Technology from the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT), and Certificate in Architectural & Civil Drafting from the University College of the Fraser Valley. Since then David has successfully completed the Bachelor of Technology in Construction Management; the Associate Certificate in Fire Protection, Inspection and Testing Technology; and the Associate Certificate in Computer Aided Design Technology offered at BCIT.
Due to his background in building technology, coupled with his skills and understanding of AutoCAD, David is responsible for the management of the corporate AutoCAD standards and is an integral member of the Fire Protection System Design division.
In order to keep his skill set in the evolving world of fire protection engineering and computer aided design current, David is a member of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE) BC Chapter, and the Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of British Columbia (ASTTBC), and is working towards his NICET certification. He also sits on the Advisory Committee for the Architectural and Building Engineering Technology Program offered at BCIT.
