Declan graduated from the University of Ulster Jordanstown in 2008 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Quantity Surveying.
Declan worked as an estimator in the passive fire protection industry on a variety of projects throughout Ireland. After graduating, he then moved to Vancouver to take up a position as a Cost Consultant where he provided mortgage monitoring services for many projects throughout BC, most notably the Whistler Athletes Village.
Since joining the GBA team in 2010 as a Code Consultant, he has been working with engineers in developing code reports and alternative solutions for residential and commercial buildings.
