Kevin is a graduate of the University of British Columbia mechanical engineering program, joining GBA in August, 2000. Many of the courses he took prior to graduation were related to heat transfer, so fire protection is a field that has proven to be of interest to him.
His first experience in the building industry was the design of HVAC and plumbing systems. Following that, he performed some code consulting and sprinkler design work. Kevin has completed a variety of building code courses at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
