Gage-Babcock & Associates Ltd. provides professional consulting engineering services in the field of fire safety, life safety and security for the building design and construction industry. Our team of technical staff provides advice and design consulting to architects, designers, owners and developers to ensure that a building design will achieve compliance with the intent of the appropriate building and fire codes while preserving the functional requirements of the space.

UBC Projects

GBA has been retained as the primary ‘Coordinating Code Consultant’ to perform independent third party design and field reviews for new UBC projects exceeding $1.5 Million in value.

There are a series of building permit and occupancy permit application forms that have been made available for project applicants. These forms identify the documentation that needs to be submitted to UBC in support of an application for a building permit or for an occupancy permit. These forms are now available in pdf format and can be downloaded from this website.
